Reclaiming Jaclyn: Step One- Choosing a New ‘Do

Alright friends, help a sister out, I’m getting geared up for a new hairstyle as my first step to gettin’ my groove back. Vote for which style you think I should go for! Don’t look at the color, just the cut. I’m sticking to my natural color for now! This is all part of my Year of Reclamation as you may have read about in my post Reclaiming Jaclyn. This new Mama needs some bounce back in her step! Also, I must thank Raquel from The HeArt for inspiring me to take this step, her new hair cut is so chic, I love it! I don’t quite have the guts to go short yet but I’m definitely ready to mix it up.

So, (drum roll please) here are the candidates:

A. Long Hair with LOTS of Long Layers

B. Medium-Length Hair with Short Bangs and Layers

C. Long Hair with Few Long Layers

D. Long Hair with Short Bangs and Layers

Shorter Bangs, longer hair with few layers

Alright now it’s your time to VOTE!!

  1. I love all these hairstyles and had a hard time picking just one. I voted for C because I thought it would be the easiest for you to throw up and go on the days when you didn’t want to have to style bangs or the rest of your hair. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these, though! Can’t wait to see it!

  2. All of these are great, but I vote D! That’s probably the one I’d choose for myself. Also, I think bangs well really look great on you!

  3. […] Woohoo! I finally have my new ‘do and I am feeling a little groove back in my step! If you didn’t read about this before, I am a new Mama who is working out of an identity crisis! Thank you so much to Mary Coleman for the AMAZING cut and color. She helped me find a style that is manageable (ie pony tail friendly) but still very fun. I’ve always liked my hair with bangs and they are very low maintenance. Then, when I was thinking about color, I didn’t want to worry about the upkeep. We decided on doing an Ombre coloring so that I wouldn’t need to fret about my roots showing too quickly. I LOVE what she did. Hope you like it too and thanks so much for voting! […]
