Luca’s First Disneyland Trip

Why the heck did we take our 5 week old son to Disneyland? Well, because he was begging us to go and we caved. Don’t judge (see previous post on that here). In all seriousness, my husband and I have annual passes that are about to expire so my parents thought it would be fun to come down to SoCal and join us for a last Disney hoorah! We aren’t renewing our passes this year because Luca is so young. We’ll consider getting them again when he’s older. Needless to say, we had a great time! We just walked around and enjoyed the beautiful decorations and yummy food. A couple of times my dad babysat while I went on rides. Here’s some photos to commemorate the little Boo’s first trip to Disneyland! I’m also going to include some tips for Mamas who plan on taking their little ones. I got most of this advice from other moms and it was so helpful!

My dad, Luca and I on a bench by the Rivers of America. This was a nice secluded place to nurse using the nursing cover. There was also a Child Center located off of Main Street (by the Corn Dog stand- how convenient!). It had a nursing center and changing station.

PS That’s Luca’s “triumphant face” that he always does when he’s done eating, lol. Usually there’s also a fist pump but this pic was taken just a few seconds too late!

We totally photo bombed Santa. Sorry, I’m not waiting in line for my sleeping newborn to “see” Santa! lol. PS the Moby wrap was a life-saver. Luca feel asleep in it and took a nice long nap.

We may have photo bombed Goofy too…

Luca fell asleep in my dad’s arms while we ate lunch. I’m seeing a whole new side to my dad now that he’s a Nono (Italian for grandpa)… so precious.

Best beignets EVER! Cafe Du Monde Style. Located in Downtown Disney. I’ve been craving these since pregnancy, finally got my fix!
He's sleeping in his car seat at dinner. We just used our stroller with the car seat attachment, it made transporting him around a lot easier.

Baby Mickey Ears!! They're at Chester's Clothiers on Main Street. This photo was taken in front of Disney's California Adventure, the Christmas decorations were so pretty!

It’s located next to Ghiradelli… how convenient! 😉

Ok, this was actually taken at my house... but how cute is this photo??
